SATA Disk Problems with suggested solutions

kernel: ata2: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
The root cause is not understood yet but cabling or drivers is suspected.
Suggested: Raise a vendor call for the cabling to be checked.

kernel: lost page write due to I/O error on sda5
Data loss has occurred due to I/O problems.
Suggested: Check the previous lines to identify the root cause

kernel: ata1: error=0x40 { UncorrectableError }
This indicates that an uncorrectable write error occurred with the disk. This is usually accompanied by an error report from the SMART error such as SMT401E Disk /dev/sda Found 34 UNC uncorrectable sectors.
Suggested: Raise a vendor call and ask for the disk to be replaced

kernel: ata1: error=0x10 { SectorIdNotFound }
Suspected as a problem with the disk.
Suggested: No action for the moment but this may become a vendor call in the future

kernel: ata1: port reset, p_is 0 is 0
The disk port was reset.
Suggested: A vendor call should be made

kernel: ata1: handling error/timeout
The disk is being reset. This is normally followed by the port reset message above.
Suggested: A vendor call can be raised but the SATA_DISK alarm only triggers from the port reset message

kernel: hda: dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0x21
kernel: hda: error waiting for DMA
kernel: hda: dma timeout retry: status=0x50 { DriveReady SeekComplete }
The DMA operation timedout to the disk. On SLC3, this causes data loss if the write in progress
Suggested: Suspected disk failure. Ask for the disk to be replaced

kernel: ATA: abnormal status 0x58 on port 0x177
kernel: ata2: command 0xb0 timeout, stat 0x58 host_stat
Problem communicating with the disk
Suggested: For SLC3, check the smart logs and if no error, run lemon-host-check and put the machine back in production (known SLC3 bug). If there is smart error, raise a Vendor call.
Suggested: For SLC4, this error should not happen, contact Linux Support

kernel: ata2: PIO error
There is a problem sending data to the disk. This has been observed with a problem with SLC3 and certain SATA disks.
Suggested: Arrange upgrade to SLC4 if possible. If running on SLC4, the disk should be replaced.

kernel: ATA: abnormal status 0x58 on port 0x177
kernel: ata2: command 0x25 timeout, stat 0x58 host_stat 0x21
This has been seen along with corrupted data on some batch nodes.
Suggested: Ask for the disk to be replaced.

kernel: I/O error: dev 08:08, sector 305640
Failure to write to disk
Suggested: Replace the disk.

kernel: ata2: soft resetting port
Seen on an E4 NOC machine at the same time as a corruption. Root cause not known but disk hardware suspected.
Suggested: No agreement on vendor call yet
